Greetings.  My name is Allen Fitts, and I'm a Texas State Notary Public, in, and for the state of Texas.  I currently am headquartered in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, however, I can notarize documents in all 254 counties across the state.  My commission gives me statewide authority.

I also am the company owner of Big Tex Escort Service here in Beaumont.  My company deals in the trucking industry with professional escort services for oversize loads anywhere in Texas.   I am a Class AM - CDL holder.  I have all endorsements ( NPST )  I do not carry a haz mat endorsement.  I am also current on DOT medical requirements.

In 2018, during the 86th legislative session in Austin, I was responsible for getting a bill passed that allows escort vehicles in Texas to be equipped with alternating / flashing amber and blue lights.  Texas Governor Greg Abbott agreed with me, and signed that bill into law, which became effective on 01 SEP 2019.

 

Texas to date, is the only state that currently allows escort vehicles to run blue lights while in the process of escorting oversized loads upon our highways.  I am extremely proud of this achievement to better enhance safety upon our highways.
